The Samsung Galaxy S (Supersmart) series is a line of flagship Android smartphone and tablet computer produced by Samsung. Together with the foldable Galaxy Z series, the lineup serves as Samsung's flagship smartphone lineup.
The series consisted initially of smartphones, and the first device, the Samsung Galaxy S, was announced in March 2010 and released for sale in June of that year. Samsung later expanded the Galaxy S line to tablet computers with the announcement of the Galaxy Tab S in June 2014 and released the next month. The Samsung Galaxy Tab series is the related tablet line.
As of 2021, the latest smartphones in the Galaxy S series are the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra; the latest tablet is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S22 series in February 2022 which consist of the Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra.
